This guide will help you find the replacement parts to keep your baby grilling.
What I do NOT have are the parts to make your Weber grill look pretty.
I can help you get the basics such as Flavorizer bars, igniters, burner tubes and grates but I do not have access to side tables, lid assemblies or wooden slats.
The key to finding the right part for a Weber gas grill is measuring and counting the number of Flavorizer bars in your grill.
Measure the Length of the Flavorizer Bars.
Some Flavorizer bars are tapered and are longer at the bottom than at the top. Always measure the Flavorizer bars from the base where the length is greatest.
There are some grills where, in addition to understanding your Flavorizer bars, you will need to understand your ignition system. I will walk you through those cases when it is important.
If you know the length of your grill’s Flavorizer bars AND the style of your igniter then you can just about find any major part you need for your Weber gas grill.
Flavorizer Bars = 24.5 inches
There are two generations of Weber Genesis grills made between 2007 and 2010 that utilize 24.5 inch Flavorizer bars. It is CRITICAL that you identify your ignition system before buying replacement ignition systems or burner tubes. All other parts are completely compatible between the two generations.
The Weber Genesis grills made in 2007 have an ignition system that utilizes a metal “gathering box” over the sparking electrode. Here is what the entire assembly looks like:
The Weber Genesis grills made between 2008 and 2010 do not have the metal “gathering box over the sparking electrode. Instead the sparking electrode is covered with a white ceramic housing. Here is what the entire assembly looks like:

Flavorizer Bars = 23.5 inches
The 23.5 inch Flavorizer bars are relatively uncommon. This length of Flavorizer bar was used in 2000 and 2001 and only for the Weber Genesis Gold and Weber Genesis Platinum.

13 Flavorizer Bars: 5 bars at 23 3/8 inches, 8 bars at 15 3/8 inches
If your grill has 13 Flavorizer bars then you have a real classic on your hands. Although all of the early Weber Genesis grills used this configuration of Flavorizer bars the most common is the Weber Genesis 1000.

Flavorizer Bars = 22.5 inches
The 22.5 inch Flavorizer bars were used in the following grills: Weber Silver B and C, Weber Genesis Gold (B and C) and Platinum grills (2002 and later), Weber Spirit 310 and 320 (2007-2012).

There were three different ignition systems utilized with the 22.5 inch Flavorizer bars but it’s pretty easy to figure out which igniter you need. If your igniter button has a picture of a spark then you have an electric ignition and you need this Electronic Battery Igniter.
If you do not have an electric ignition then you have a piezeo ignition and will need to choose between a black and red model. Here is how you choose the correct one.
Look at your side control panel and find the Cross Over Ignition Rocker.
Here it is.
You will need to remove the side control panel to expose the actual igniter that is sitting underneath the Crossover Ignition Rocker.
The top of your igniter will either be black or red. The igniter on this Weber is black.
The black igniters are the oldest version and use a lock nut to stay in place. Here is the link for the correct replacement Weber Igniter Kit.
The red igniters use a Snap-Fit feature to stay in place. Here is the link for the correct replacement Weber Igniter Kit
Flavorizer Bars = 21.5 inches
The 21.5 inch Flavorizer bars are used by the Weber Spirit 210 (side mounted burners) the Weber Genesis Silver A and the Weber Spirit 500.

Scroll back up to the section on Weber grills with 22.5 inch Flavorizer bars to see how to identify which ignition your grill uses.
If the top of the ignitor is red then you need the Red Igniter Kit.
If the top of the ignitor is black then you need the Black Igniter Kit.
If your igniter button has a picture of a spark then you need this Electronic Battery Igniter.
Flavorizer Bars = 17.5 inches
The 17.5 inch Flavorizer bars are used for the Weber Genesis grills with front mounted burner controls.

Five Flavorizer Bars = 15.3 inches
The 15.3 inch Flavorizer bars are designed for use in the Weber Spirit grills with front mounted burner controls. If your grill has five Flavorizer bars then it is either a Weber Spirit 310 or a Weber Spirit 320 and these are the parts you need.
Three Flavorizer Bars = 15.3 inches
The 15.3 inch Flavorizer bars are designed for use in the Weber Spirit grills with front mounted burner controls. If your grill has three Flavorizer bars then it is a Weber Spirit 210 and these are the parts you need.
